Where we started

More than a dozen writers spread over several production units were involved in managing eight different writing/pagination/CMS tools. In some cases, there were objective difficulties caused by the obsolete nature of several of the software products used. Tens of thousands of pages of use and maintenance manuals were modified/paginated/translated/published monthly, partly through activities that were still manual. Hundreds of models of machinery with medium/high complexity and variants were managed in different ways.
